Happy is a dog. No really his name is Happy. Happy is very happy.

We met Happy at the dog park a few months ago and we immediately fell in love. He in turn fell into full infatuation with Justin. We got to take Happy to Auburn with us this last weekend for his first trip away from home. He started out a little scared in the back of the truck but his hero Justin rescued him and Anabelle and let them ride in the back seat. As you can see Anabelle had priority seating becuase she is the boss. Happy had to take what he could get.

 When we first got there Happy took some time to scope out the property.

 He stared at the pond.

 Then he met “The Rocco”

Rocco lives on the farm. We are not sure what he is other than a Rocco. Rocco is sort of a special dog if you have seen previous post. He has the social skills of a twelve year old boy with severe A.D.D. Because of this he has a hard time making new friends.

 Guess what…..

 …..Rocco made a friend.

Hank and Justin went for a walk while I went running. We learned that Hank CAN run quite fast, he just chooses not to most of the time.

We had Rocco visiting us from Auburn for the week. Usually we take dogs from the city to visit the country but this time we took the country dog  to the city. Let me tell you it was a whole different experience. Rocco is possibly the happiest dog I know and he loved how many people were in the city that he could drool on. The most common comment we heard was “Your dog is so sweet… we just don’t want to touch him”. Here is a photo tour of the week with Rocco The Great.

Rocco loved the beach he would just run up and down the beach while passersby pointed and laughed, much to Rocco’s enjoyment.

Much like the concept of the columns of a pier, Rocco’s long legs keep his body dry in turbulent surf.

Rocco’s favorite household activity is people watching from our 3rd story window. We were so glad to have Rocco with us and can’t wait for him to come back to visit.
